| McWong has engineered and manufactured Auto-backwashing Oil/Water Separator, with our patented ultrasonic technology and coalescing cross flow media, it can remove the free floating oil and fine suspended particles from the industrial wastewater better than regular gravity flow separator.
Principle
Oily wastewater flows through the coalescing cross flow media which allow oil droplets to collect on the underside of the plates and form larger globules which then rise toward the surface of the water. According to Stoke's Law, larger diameter oil droplets will rise to surface of the water quickly and will be discharged via the water discharge sump. The solids materials settle and slide to the bottom of the separator and discharges via the sludge collecting system.
