MEEG actively promotes advanced products and technologies from the United States. By doing so, we help promote cooperation between the USA and China. Recently, MEEG was chosen to begin working on the China Energy Commission and the California Environmental and Energy Exhibition & Trade mission to China, an annual event which highlights new technologies and products in the environmental and energy fields.

After successfully hosting California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's visit to China in 2005, MEEG was again called upon to by the California State Government to host a delegation to Shanghai. Lt. Governor for the State of California, John Garamendi, visited Shanghai in late 2007. Lt. Governor Garamendi was graciously welcomed by our friends at Baosteel and around Shanghai.

Also in 2007, MEEG welcomed Mr. Vlade Divac to China. Vlade is an international basketball star who has worked tirelessly to promote basketball in cities throughout China. MEEG regularly organizes basketball camps for the Divac Children's Foundation. These events received much recognition and encouragement from both U.S. and Chinese leaders.

 

On Nov.17, 2005, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California, visited MEEG's project at Baosteel Group.

On Oct.11, 2007, John Garamendi, the Liutenant governor of California, visited the Cold Rolling Stainless Steel Strip Plant

and the wastewater treatment Plant of Baosteel Group which was designed and installed by MEEG.
 

Margaret Wong, the president of Mcwong Environmental and Energy Group, attended and hosted the session

and the signing ceremony with the California Delegation which was held in Tsing Hua University.

MEEG organized the "Environmental and Water Sector High-level Conference between California and Shanghai"

 

 

MEEG regularly organizes Divac Youth Basketball Camps.

MEEG participats in the charity causes, and contributed to Qingpu Democratic School.

 

MEEG promoted the first NBA China Games in 2004, between the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets.

MEEG led Baoshan Experimental School and US County Day School to form sister schools

 

 

The US ambassador to China, Mr. Clark T. Randt, invited the GM of MEEG in Shanghai, Alex Ping Zhang to attend a

private party held at his home to discuss the issues of Sino-US Strategic Communication on Economy.

The GM of MEEG, Alex Ping Zhang was invited by Steven¡¤Johnson, the president of the State Environment Protection

Bureau of United States, for a discussion on the cooperation and development on environmental improvement between China and US.
 

MEEG was invited by the State Environmental Protection Administration of China and U.S. Embassy, and attended

CIEPEC 2007 held in Beijing.

MEEG assisted John Garamendi, the Liutenant governor of California at the successful held 2007 Hollywood California Environmental

Technology Conference in Shanghai.
 

In Dec 2007, MEEG invited and organized three California senators' to visit China, where discussions on the

development of the domestic environmental water treatment and international communications were held.

MEEG successfully organized the 2007 Shanghai International Information Technology Exhibition California Pavilion held in Shanghai

at the New International Expo Centre in Oct 2007.
